The outdoor wall climbs the side of the hotel. Shorter walls include auto-belay routes, while the 164-foot Climb to the Top experience is staff-belayed and can welcome first-timers. Outdoor climbing depends on weather and conditions; confirm availability before building your day around it.

FIRST TIME?
START HERE.

You don’t have to arrive knowing the routes. Find BaseCamp on the hotel’s second floor and let the team know what you’d like to try.

  1. 01 / BEFORE YOU GO

    Choose your climb.

Try indoor bouldering, ask about the shorter outdoor routes, or book the staff-belayed Climb to the Top experience. See what’s included for hotel guests.

  2. 02 / AT CHECK-IN

    Meet the team.

Tell the staff it’s your first visit. Confirm your pass, rental equipment, waiver and the orientation needed for the area you’ll use. Follow the team’s safety instructions before climbing.

  3. 03 / BUILD CONFIDENCE

    Take a class.

Beginner instruction covers gym etiquette, falling, reading routes, auto-belay use and basic climbing technique. Class availability and reservations are handled by BaseCamp.

Planning on the Big Wall?

Climb to the Top is a separate bookable experience. BaseCamp staff manages the rope and belay; the package includes a day pass and gear rentals. Weather, heat, smoke and other conditions can close the outdoor wall. Check the booking details and speak with the team if you’re unsure which climb is right for you.
